Rennie Rose Guest House is also our home and lays on the outskirts of Belper. Having been built within the last 10 years it offers all the benefits and comforts of a new property with features inspired by the beautiful designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh hence the name Rennie Rose House. There are no stairs to any of the guest rooms or the breakfast room, which makes access very easy.All our rooms offer contemporary, spacious, comfortable accommodation with luxurious en-suite and private bathroom facilities. There is unlimited tea and coffee making facilities along with a television and DVD facilities, free WiFi, iron and ironing board, simple toiletries and towels. Breakfast is included in all stays and comprises of a full English breakfast using locally sourced produce, a Continental selection, cereals, toast and preserves, fresh fruit and juices, tea and coffee.We have a double suite with private bathroom and two family suites with wet room style en-suite facilities, sleeping a maximum of four and five.The picturesque town of Belper is an old mill town boasting World Heritage state with the Strutt Mill at it's heart. Winners of a gold medal in the 'Towns in Bloom' annual competition, Belper also prides itself on it's hidden treasure, the beautiful 'River Gardens' where you can go boating on the Derwent on a sunny summer afternoon or sit back and have a leisurely ice cream while someone else does the work. Being situated at Rennie Rose Guest House in Belper provides a good base from which to explore the many famous towns and historical places in Derbyshire. There is a railway station in Belper town centre which has links to local towns and cities, including Matlock Bath, Cromford, Matlock, Derby and Nottingham. Buses also run regularly and can take you to Bakewell to taste the delights of the true Bakewell Pudding, Buxton to drink from the natural spring water and the beautiful market town of Ashbourne. There are very good road links which allow easy access to the stunning Peak District National Park, across which there are endless walks and cycle routes.

Directions

Directions from M1 Leave at jct. 28 and head south on A38 taking the A610 Ripley turnoff. At the roundabout take the 4th exit signposted Matlock. Just after the first set of traffic lights, at the junction with the Excavator Pub, bear left onto the B6013. Follow this road to the end, at the T junction turn right, this is still the B6013. Follow this road until you see the 'Welcome to Belper' sign. Rennie Rose Guest House is situated on the left hand side shortly after the sign.Directions from A6At the Morrisons' roundabout take the A609 New Road heading towards Heage. Follow this up past the market place and bear left onto the B6013 Chesterfield Road. Follow this up the hill continuing straight ahead past a green on the right. After the green this road becomes Far Laund. Rennie Rose Guest House is situated immediately after the turning for Ashford Rise on the right.
